We are seeking a Cyber Watch Officer for defense and national security missions.

 

The Cyber Watch Officer  will be responsible for providing multi-agency 24x7x365 cybersecurity event monitoring and intermediate cyber threat analysis management. Provide security monitoring, coordinate across multiple agency-specific Watch Officers, lead coordinated response process, report information to leadership to make risk-based recommendations. Performs a variety of Information Assurance (IA) and Computer Network Defense (CND) functions which are broad in nature and support multi-tier IA and CND functions to include, but not limited to, systems engineer, audit/inspection, infrastructure support, certification and accreditation, vulnerability management, detection and response support services. This position has multiple work shifts to support 24/7/365 operations.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Current (or in process of attaining) an IAT Level II Certification (Security+CE, or equivalent)
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or additional 4+ years of professional experience)
  • Minimum of 4 years of related cybersecurity, watch officer, or incident response experience
  • Experience in cyber watch across both classified and unclassified networks
  • Experience supporting cybersecurity oversight, collection, and analysis of threat intelligence, event analysis, and incident response
  • Experience supporting 24x7x365 operations in a cybersecurity, IT or related watch environment.
  • Experience supporting reporting on daily performance and health metrics to provide ongoing situational awareness to Government leadership
  • Experience using incident case management systems to document and report on incidents. Experience following and improving Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Experience supporting vulnerability management, cyber threat intelligence, and fusion.
  • Understanding of classified Government networks, technology stacks, and cybersecurity operations
  • Experience working individually as well as actively participating on integrated teams.
  • Active TS/SCI -or- TS/SCI with Poly

Desired Qualifications

  • Familiarity with cyber security of Intelligence Community networks and operations.
  • Master’s Degree
