Provides field support for the Army Logistics Information Systems (LIS) at Unit or Installation level Support activities. Provides over the shoulder technical assistance or training; troubleshooting, software installation, software updates, and software fixes. Must have Microsoft Windows/Linux/VMWare server and client software, patching, upgrading, and maintenance experience. A basic knowledge of client and server software interaction including web-based application design, support, and integration. Capable of performing software, hardware, and network troubleshooting and problem identification and resolution. Has a basic understanding of networking principles and system network configuration. Assists Information Assurance staff with all documentation required for accreditation and any other associated directives and regulations. Must be capable of performing analyses of system operations.
