Systems Engineer

This individual will play a pivotal role in developing innovative and effective solutions for our DoD customers within the IC sector.

Role Overview:

The Systems Engineer will be responsible for deploying, managing, and customizing cloud management tools while supporting IT automation and networking needs. This role will require strong collaboration, technical expertise, and alignment with mission goals.

Primary Duties:

• Customize and deploy the cloud management tool, CloudBolt, in the customer’s unclassified and classified environments.

• Provide CloudBolt demonstrations and information sessions to customer leadership.

• Develop documentation for the customer’s Assessment and Authorization (A&A) process.

• Provide CloudBolt user and administration training.

• Minimum of eleven (11) years of relevant work experience.

• Linux Administration experience (RedHat, CLSE).

• Scripting experience (primarily Python, but also Bash and Perl).

• Understanding of IT automation, including how APIs work.

• Strong awareness of networking and internet protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP, and distributed networks.

• Technical understanding of at least one cloud service (Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, IBM Cloud, Microsoft Azure, or Oracle Cloud).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience with the customer’s Assessment and Authorization (A&A) process.

Certifications:

• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in relevant disciplines (preferred).
