This individual will play a pivotal role in developing innovative and effective solutions for our DoD customers within the IC sector.


Role Overview

The Systems Integrator Expert will assist and advise the Customer's Senior Representative to another customer organization. This part-time role (32 hours per week) requires exposure to both VA and MD customers and a strong focus on SATCOM systems (not land-based communications/telecom). The individual will support the Senior Representative by exercising executive-level skills, identifying opportunities and risks, and developing engagement strategies to advance mission goals.


Primary Duties

  • Strongly support the goals of the Senior Representative while respectfully challenging assumptions to encourage advancement and foster effective partnerships.
  • Exercise strong independent initiative and excellent judgment to identify opportunities and risks, developing draft positions and engagement strategies.
  • Leverage a position of trust to protect sensitive insights and support transparent communications with the Senior Representative.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, employing technical and operational expertise to support the Senior Representative's objectives.
  • Translate and simplify complex technical topics for senior staff and non-technical audiences.
  • Quickly adapt to dynamic needs and pivot between roles based on customer requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience with a BS/BA, 6+ years with an MS/MA, or 3+ years with a PhD; additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Familiarity with a variety of customer technical systems across multiple organizations.
  • Proven ability to learn quickly, work independently, and exhibit a self-starter mentality.
  • A strong "can-do" attitude with the flexibility to adapt to shifting roles and requirements.
  • Technical operational background with experience in SATCOM systems.
  • Proven ability to translate and simplify complicated technical topics for senior staff or non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent communication skills.
