SilverEdge is seeking candidates for the following position: The Finance Administrator III will work within our travel cards branch, which plans, monitors, and administers over 12,000 travel cards. As part of the duties for this position, we expect the candidate to participate in the administration of the office, oversee credit card accounts listed under internal identifiers, and assist maintaining private industry partnerships. This is a strategic-heavy office that has a small personnel footprint but critical impact. The work unit is comprised of one staff member and three additional contractors (including candidate).
The candidate is expected to work with autonomy and minimal supervision/guidance in a dynamic and complex environment. Candidate is expected to augment and support the contract team lead and staff on site via multiple written communications regarding the program and lead program management reviews with other organizational and private industry partners. Core hours are 8am to 4pm with the possible opportunity to travel to conferences in nearby states 1 - 2 times per year (by personal owned vehicle or flight).
The Finance Administrator III candidate is expected to use multiple internal banking systems as well as private industry financial tools such as CitiManager. Prior knowledge or use of these tools is desired but not expected. Customer is willing to train and/or provide on-the-job training upon arrival. Experience with Tableau or ServiceNow is also desired but not required.
Candidate is expected to review a variety of credit card transactional data and create trend reports via use of a Tableau tool. The candidate is expected to use CitiManager to create various reports and provide metric reporting to support customer reporting requirements.
Will utilize reporting metrics to track and identify problem areas requiring additional training and notify management of training requirement. Augment contract team lead and staff for day-to-day tasking to free them up for long range planning. Contractor operates in a team environment, must be able to document and relay status across team members. Candidate must keep colleagues and management aware of issues / challenges and be willing to selectively escalate issues requirement management action. The candidate will be expected to assist management in responding to internal and external auditing inquiries.
Candidate will review and assess their own training and mentoring needs on an ongoing basis and report to the contract team lead and staff. The contractor is expected to know/learn government policies and regulations as they relate to travel and travel card functionalities. The resource will identify issues via data/metric trend analysis and reporting.
